Home infusion therapy can be overwhelming at the first try—but it is important to know that you’re not alone. At Hygieia Infusion Care, our goal is to deliver safe and quality impactful care that empowers patients to manage their health efficiently.

Understanding Home Infusion Therapy

Home infusion therapy involves getting your medications or IV fluids through an IV or injection from the comfort of your home.

This method of getting treatment is a safe and comfortable way to get treated instead of continuously visiting hospitals for conditions like immune deficiencies, infections, enzyme disorders, and more.

Our team of skilled registered nurses is equipped with the right skills to manage all aspects of our patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and coordination with your healthcare provider.

What to Expect During Treatment

After scheduling an appointment, one of our registered nurses listens to you to address your healthcare needs. Then we’ll walk you through the treatment plan and answer all your questions.

We’ll also review all your medications and their schedules and educate you on any important self-care techniques, if needed. During the entire process, we take a patient-first approach to ensure that you are comfortable throughout.

Any ongoing visits are scheduled and tailored to every patient’s treatment needs. If we’re needed daily or weekly, you can expect full professionalism, punctual care, strict adherence to safety protocols, and respectful, personalized attention every time.

We also provide after-hour care and support whenever our services are needed. This covers issues with IV site, equipment, medication, or clarity about any symptoms you’re experiencing. Our nurses are available 24/7.

Patient Education Materials

Taking care of yourself when we are not with you is an important skill we teach to our clients. For this, we provide handouts (written and digital) for the IV therapies we offer, including medication guides, IV care instructions, and safety checklists. We also give visual demonstrations and communicate instructions to give you a clear picture of how to administer care without us, when needed.

Ask your nurse for materials during a visit, or request demonstrations or clarifications. You can also email us to request electronic copies.

For questions, call us—we’re always happy to help.
